| History | In 1978 we began importing and wholesaling Persian carpets, still a rarity in Japan at the time. Through major wholesalers we supplied Persian carpets to leading department stores and furniture shops nationwide, helping to make them widely known. We then moved to direct import and direct sales, opening our own store under the motto better quality at a better price, and have held more than 100 exhibitions across Japan, earning the support of many customers to this day. We exhibited at Nara Silk Road Expo (Nara, 1988), the International Garden and Greenery Exposition (Osaka, 1990) and the Yokohama Exotic Showcase (Kanagawa, 1991). In 1993, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Iran, we held the Great Persian Carpet Exhibition “Flowers of Eternity” in Tokyo to great acclaim. We have also sponsored Iranian films such as Through the Olive Trees (1994) and The White Balloon (1996), and actively work to introduce and promote the traditional culture and arts of Iran. |
